Yep. Near Buckley AFB (it was just a national guard base back then). Used to call it my "little house on the prairie". Subdivision was all alone...far from anything else. Rattlesnake in the yard every now and then. Now it is in the middle of a sea of subdivisions.
I had a lawn full of bluegrass when I was there. Water was relatively cheap. Increased population resulted in expensive water now.
Lots of breeze out there...just have to open windows. If the 40 year old furnace ever fails...I would add AC. Few folks out there had AC back when I lived there. Even poor folks are spoiled these days.
Used to be quite conservative. Had to go to Boulder to find anyone left of center. Newcomers pouring in all seem to be far left. Lots of low-life attracted by legalized pot as well.
