Hahah Exactly this! If you have $80K budgeted no need in cheating yourself!

996TT is an amazing car, could certainly get a nice one, put $10K into in and have an awesome all around car.

Also would consider a newer car with a PDK, although you will lose more on resale

Lastly after a quick Ebay search I saw this 2011 Turbo S with cool options and you didn't mention any mileage limits, although 97K is not that much to me to pay $70K for a 100K car is a tough one for me... Still have a few buck left... to put into the car!!
