If it weren't for the road-trip requirement I'd say a nice 914/6 conversion with 3.2 or 3.6.. But those things are a little too loud for road trips IMO.
So many good cars around that number.. I'd build a 996 GT2 replica with around 600 RWHP.
I've been thinking of dipping into F-cars, so maybe a f355 Berlinetta or a non-red TR with needs.
The 996 fits the requirement list a little better than the Italians, but they'd all do fine if used regularly. TR might get tedious "semi-daily" though - parking and visibility kind of sucks, as does dealing with the attention they generate out in the wild.
