Though I'm not Higgy, I have magnums and even my steel Colt CC .45 ACP has more recoil than my LC9S imo. I bought it after my uncle purchased one several years ago...we both love ours. He will not shoot large caliber pisols and is a 9mm guy too....just another perspective....check out the baby Rugers imo. BTW....I sent my first one back...defective
....it happens. No FTFs in either of ours....fun to shoot too imo.
