Glen's past datee sounds like what we called just one evening of relaxing.

We would choose someone's house, bowl the keys and put them on a high shelf. The each person got a shot glass and 375 ml of Crown Royal. We would set an alarm that went off every 15 minutes for pouring and taking a shot of crown. Amazingly enough we would get to where it was taking longer than the 15 mintues to pour and take a shot, But we never got to the point that anyone got sick or passed out involuntarily. Though everyone did end up crashing at the place the relaxation took place.

The bowl of keys on a high shelf protected us from anyone driving. If anyone actually remembered where their keys were, they were not physically capable of retrieving them. The idea was, if you could get your keys you were capable of driving. It helped everyone expecting to stay until the next morning anyway.
