The person who buys a 74/75 Carrera is not looking at them for performance. 73/74 Carrera - only two cars that received OEM Duck tail, some 74 carrera and all 75s first cars with tea tray, rear quarter windows that open, hand built cars, my.02 - I think they are both good looking impact bumper cars. For many of us- it's the poster we had on the wall or the magazine we saved and read multiple times. Also 74/75 smog exempt in many states. I think all these factors will continue to push the purchase prices north.

i agree with both of you on the value of a '74. Just being a jerk here but you've done the opposite of what most do and you've called a whale tail a tea tray.

One of my biggest peeves is people calling the later tea trays a whale tail. Especially when its one for sale lol
