I used a used Arien as a kid. It was electric start, which was good since the damn pull cord broke. We had some VERY long electric cords to restart it at the bottom of the driveway, if it stalled.
I do not miss snow-blowing or shoveling. My last 2 places in the North East had gravel driveways.
