This isn't just a vendor sponsored forum, it is a vendor owned forum. I think they have the right to determine if you should be allowed to recommend other vendors openly in threads. We pay nothing to be members here, but I'm sure that the forum doesn't just run itself. However, there are other forums, for those who are tired of this one. Please don't drag Pelican down. You aren't just screwing with Pelican Parts, you are also messing with the community. I have been on a lot of forums, and believe me, the freedom you enjoy here is rarely matched anywhere. If this forum was gone, many would miss it. I'm sorry if it doesn't suit you today. I'm sure many people have felt that way from time to time, but in 20 years these days will look pretty golden overall.
If having a Porsche, and being here don't seem pretty special to you today, you are missing something.

Pelican, as noted, can decide to do what it pleases. It owns the material and the data we post. To me, that's a fair bargain. I used to read car magazines voraciously, but now my car sickness is satisfied largely online. Reading a long build thread here, and then discussing things in near real time with the builder is way better and more informative than any magazine could be.
