Go to a RAV 4 website and ask around. Ran KYB shocks and struts on the Superbeetle, durable and worked well with the progressive springs I put on it. Surprising how well that thing handled.
Put blue loctite on it when you screw it back together maybe.
You don't want Chinesium suspension parts on your wife's vehicle.
