I don't know who makes shocks for Toyota but I'm on my 3rd set in 3 years on my Camry. First replaced the OEM at 147K miles with Monroes. Horrible. Absolute garbage. Dealt with them for about a month.
Replaced those with KYB's because that's what everyone says OEM's are. They lasted about a year and maybe 15K miles before going out.
Replaced the KYB's with OEM from the dealer and they still ride like new with more than 20K miles on them. They ain't cheap but they will outlive the car and I was done replacing them.
I've found out the hard way that the market is flooded with cheap Chinese parts but you will spend more time and money in the long run than just doing it once with dealer parts.
