The problem is that a lot of people think AWD=magic. My old boss in Iowa thought she didn't need to slow down at the RR crossing or other rough parts of the road because she had an AWD Blazer. When my wife was in high school one of her best friends was going to just jump across the canal instead of going around because she had 4WD. It was a bone stock 4Runner. I don't know if you have seen the large canals in the Imperial Valley, but a trophy truck would have a hard time with those.
I figured most people on here would know the limitations of a vehicle. Just watch out for those others!
