My business partner has waited until 5:00 PM to take his "morning shower." and only because his girlfriend was coming over after she got off work.
He had spent the day in his jammies. It has happened many times. He gets up to check one part of a project, and goes down to rabbit hole of "one more thing" then get showered and dressed.
I am old school enough to still take the newspaper. I go outside every morning to get it. I just go ahead and get dressed, and "go to work" in my home office. If I take a shower before my wife, she has to wipe down the shower walls and I don't have to. Of course sometimes she does not get out of bed until 9:00 AM.
