Single genius vs a team based approach, two very different things. Pretty much every study of team dynamics suggests that diversity within teams tends to foster an environment more conducive to creativity and innovation, all other things being equal. It’s really common sense, if you have a bunch of really similar people with really similar experiences in a room, it almost becomes a groupthink scenario.

Yeah I know, 11 is a long way from 19 and starting college. I’m going to enjoy it for now though, I’m an aerospace engineer and enjoy talking about space stuff with her.
