It will be another day in the garage for me. I struggled with getting the evaporator box apart. The really long Phillips screwdriver did the trick. I got the top off, and on my bench. The the real struggle began. Getting the motor to let go of the fan. I used lots of penetrating oil, and went on to the steps to modify the box to accept the bigger motor. It was a three hour process of using a drift to push the motor out. I had to build a "box" of 2x4 two layers deep, to suspend the motor and rest on the fan cage. That allowed me to hammer on the drift, and slowly push the old motor out. The new motor is in place, and the fan cage is straightened and ready. Now I just need to get it all back in place and connected.
