I really like '74/'75 Carreras - so that's what that car is - a light body with some stuff on it.
If it were mine I would keep it as-is and put all new fuel lines in it - front to back - do all the brakes, new tires, check out the engine (adjust valves,reseal the triangle,rebuild the carbs). What horrors lurk in that original fuel tank? and take it out for a spin.
The more I look at that color on the exterior the more I like it with the silver decal. I need to look away now before I get any new ideas.
The gauges are priceless. You can't blame him for having a singular mindset and following through.
