Not important stuff but little thing she will worry about?
Back story (we have a feral rescue cat, very sweet cat but even after two years she is still skittish, won't let strangers get close to her, any sudden movements and she bolts out of the room). Well, she got out and my wife was inconsolable... fortunately she showed up after three days... on the roof of our two story house.
So yesterday our big fat spoiled cat got out, so I send off a text to my wife "Lily got out". As soon as I sent the text I knew it was a mistake... I then started getting texts every 15 minutes asking for updates... I had some banking to do so ran off to do a few errands (didn't tell her, lie of omission) when I get home guess who is sitting at the top of the stairs waiting to get in? (I purposely let Lily out when I'm working in the yard, much to my wife's displeasure)
Anyway, we have a long weekend booked for next month... but we also have a show coming in next month and It was just announced "no vacation time will be granted" (stupid because it is not that big or important of a show).
First I thought to email my wife... then thought better of it... if I let this blow over and have a meeting with the department head (I am most senior tech in our department) and pull my Jedi mind trick on him I'm pretty certain I can get the time off.
So... what would PPOT do?
