Are we really getting nostalgic about the 80s molestation's that occurred? Some of you guys are nuttier than squirrel poop.
That is one unusually detailed history that reads more like a horror story.
Car will probably still fetch 30k to 35k only because of the engine and the transmission you have with it. It's lost all identity as a 1972. Returning it back to a longhood status it's not really worth it. In the end it is still a sportomatic that has lost its original engine. Far too expensive to return back to a 72 that could never be fully original. As another person stated, I would remove the purple interior and replace it with black and just drive the thing and have a good time with it.
