As you can tell by my post above, I am generally not a fan.. Testosterone is arguably the most destructive drug known to man. It turns otherwise happy, healthy humans into angry monsters. I am jokingly exaggerating, obviously.
Your T levels are supposed to fall as you get older. This is a good thing, from multiple perspectives. Defeating this natural process is like bolting a turbo on your engine and turning the boost up until the engine is destroyed. Boost (T) is great and all, but too much of a good thing is a bad idea.
That said, I am somewhat talking out my you-know-what. Much of my impressive expertise comes from dating a woman for ten years who worked in a urology clinic. Urologists are generally not big fans of TRT. As I mentioned, too much T promotes prostate cancer. The first thing urologists do when prostate cancer appears and becomes dangerous to the patient, possibly requiring surgery, etc., is to eliminate T from your system. It is sometimes referred to as chemical castration.
Our bodies, like our 911s, were well designed. I tend to rely on factory specifications.
