I can’t really offer any guidance on value, I don’t follow that particular market at all. You might take a look at eBay and other sites to see what those bikes are actually selling for. Keep in mind the cost of the service work needed, not to mention the hassle of getting it to a dealer or other shop in non-running condition. It will be a couple months before the used car bike market wakes up again for the year, and it might take a while to sell, so you might ponder whether it’s worth it to you to screw with it.
It’s likely that the seller is offering it as a trade simply because he doesn’t want to screw with selling it either.
