This guy works all day long without saying a word, except for "whats next "
We also just picked up this 20 year old kid. He has been with us for 3 weeks now.
There is hope for the future generations. He works like a dog, never once, did I see him with his phone out, and when we tried to pay him, he shortchanged his own hours .
When my partner called him out on it , he said" Im not really a painter, and I did not feel so good about the job i did upstairs. I did not want to charge for the whole time I was there"
He tried to take 3 hours off his pay. Honest, hard working, and polite . He did just fine, and we threw him extra instead.
Mr all talkie , no workie showed up 3 hours late, smelling like booze, worked for 3 and went home . he is fired .

Good for you to throw some hours Alan's way , sounds like an honest and hard working fellow . And it appears he raised his son with the same values and drive . Sounds like having these two on your crew is a win/win for all involved . Be careful when you terminate Mr. all talkie no workie ............ lots of crazies out there !
