The front nose and rear impact structures only need a 300mm wide section of front main plane or rear lower wing bolted on when crash testing
New cars are only just built in time or in Williams case not built in time. Photo shoots of the real car are usually done in the early hours before everything leaves the factory for Barcelona and are considered a disruptive inconvenience to the build/transporting schedule
