I wouldn't blame the tires, that thing bit and took off despite spinning them.

It did look a bit damp in the video.

Trust me, those tires are horrible for that car and she did roll through some water, but even if she had not those do not hook up well. The car took off because they weigh very little. If it had posi it probably spun one, transferred power to the one with better traction, got her sideways and by then it was too late.

The GT II and BFG Radial T/A are called slicks for a reason.
