My Grandma on my dad's side was born in South Dakota, and rode with her family to Oklahoma City on a horse drawn wagon when she was 7. My grandma on my moms side was born in a farmhouse in Driftwood, OK. Her dad got the property in the land run of 1889 when he was a teenager. I am pretty sure neither of them wore miniskirts and they both loved Lawrence Welk not the Beatles.
