I did a serch, but this one post (literally) was as close as I could find.
Without going overboard and spending cash, I have attempted to shed a little weight from my '82 911 SC.
I've removed:
~rear deck spoiler
~AC compressor/bracket, front and rear condensor and front condensor blower, all AC hoses and receiver/dryer
~windsheild washer bottle only, small lines are still in place
~Backdated heat/removed engine compartment heater blower
*planning on removing AC evaporator housing in smugglers box next, possibly bumper overrides, front chin spoiler and rocker trim.
*All electrical connections to these components are sealed with electrical tape.
My question is similar;
Does voltage still flow to these electrical connections with these componets removed ?Id like to avoid shorts and /or grounding of course, but dont want to dive into pulling wire looms out of the car and apart.
I realize this is a rudimentry electrical question and a subject probably covered on the forum somewhere. I would be thankful for any advice or links, thanks
Josh
