I have some sort of ulnar entrapment too (I wake up a few times per night with numb pinkie and ring finger) but I don't think it's elbow related in my case, it seems to be shoulder level (when I sleep with my arm up under the pillow) - how did they test you to determine if it was wrist/elbow/shoulder, just curious as to how that works?
retraining myself to sleep on my back arms down is NOT working, surgery might be the way to go.

The doc sent me to have an electromyogram done. It tests the signal strength and speed of the nerve transmissions. It showed the transmissions from my shoulder were normal, but I had major cubital tunnel restrictions and also some carpal tunnel restrictions. I’m hoping I don’t have to have the carpal tunnel surgery too.
