I went electronic throttle route due to not liking the idea of long throttle cable. Since my car was heavily modified by PO it did not have it at all and I thought it would be easier to use ETC than figure out cable setup and routing. With LSD and ~200rwhp from my 2.4s I don't think traction is problem with 911
Wiring is easy, actuator has regular BMW TPS mounted (like M50 engine has) and then just 2pin JPT connector for motor. It is controlled by H-bridge which my VEMS ECU has built in. From throttle pedal there are two PPS (pedal position) sensors, on is for main load, other is for error correction and finally TPS on the GSXR throttles. So total of four position sensors and also safety relay for throttle motor (for instances where pedal target differs too much from actual throttle angle. In case of error it just reverts to default position (meaning idle).
