If they did that here in MI, I'd be very upset. I don't know the law in Cal, but I would guess that you could argue you were just joy riding and got caught. I'd play stupid to the racing thing. Although I don't think there is a law against racing here in MI. Just speeding. I'd consider this a minor offense, the cop is prob just jealous of your 914
