If kalifornia didn't make IDs expire every 6 years, they wouldn't be able to charge more $$$$$$ to renew them ($31 plus additional fees/charges).
And in kalifornia it's all about the $$$$$$$$
That reminds me: thanks to the gubmint, the nearly $50 driver's license I got last SEPTEMBER is no good for ID if I want to get on a plane.
I need to GO
INTO a DMV to get an O'fficial (federal)
REAL ID driver's license and stand in line and pay all those fees AGAIN.
Gotta love that gubmint!
