Just an observation on my part, but the "original" lug nuts that came with my car sure seem to be of a different material/alloy than what I bought as replacements (they all seem to be of essentially the same weight/mass). I bought new ones because the original were scuffed (but not much deformed). Two sets of replacements (not original Porsche, but acquired here from Pelican) seem "softer", and definitely more easily chewed up. Yes, the replacements were cheaper (significantly), but I swear the original Porsche ones are a better material. Don't be afraid to tell me I am nuts...
