Ticking time bomb that is. You can take a 5.3 and install stiffer springs so you don't float valves, corvette cam, and bubba junkyard turbo it. That'll net 500 + hp. I've built one, and they pop. My 928 has seen more engines than a tug shop in Florida. Well maybe not that many, but after the fourth I'm convinced on the lsx376 will be the next one.
