The RD-180 rocked engines are currently used on the US Atlas rockets. It's pretty incredible, Russians are the only ones to have perfected the design since around 1995. US has extended the contract to use them for another few years since there's nothing like it-
Those V2 rockets were stolen from Germany after the war, by US and USSR-soviets also took all the BMW and Junkers jet engines along with more than 6000 scientists and engineers. The team developed the BMW jet engines into the large turboprop monsters used on the Bear bomber. The Soviets also purchased 55 Rolls Royce Nene jet engines and developed the Klimov VK-1
