You people piss me off.

My dad started working selling newspaper when he was 12. Before that he sold sandwiches my granny made. Why because the kids had to work to make ends meet. American working people wages were at the poverty level. This is pre depression...the depressionmade it worse.

After WW2 the American worker was at the right place at the right time. There was no global competition as the war destroyed or damaged the rest of the world's industrial plant. The unions could demand a middle class wage with bennies and pension. A first in history. All was good until the middle 60s when Japan Germany and the rest of the EU came back on line. They have along with the other developing nations now provide wage competition. Four USD an hour to work in Ford's Mexico auto plant. Needless to say both technology and global wage competion has not only put Americans out of work it has diminished their earning power. There is no going back to the glory days..no maga.

Good paying Jobs also require a higher level of technical expertise which requires a higher level of education and intelligence. An IQ of 100 don't cut it Jack. They are not capable of performing that high of a level of a job. Secondly the American School system is a joke, it is a bueaucratic failure that can not get er done. It needs a ground up reorg. Get that past the union and bureaucrats who always clamor for more money as the solution.

Now today's kids fully understand that the opportunities available to their parents are no more. They are gone with the wind. Secondly they see just how miserable and fked up their parents and grand parents are with their lifestyle of plenty.
So they want their safe spaces and their socialism while sitting in their parents basements on their smart phones. Even the proverbial saving grace of a college education don't save them from the malaise of having minimal opportunity.

Now of course I generalize but I have the story right. My question is when will the light bulbs go on in your thick heads.when will you wake up from you delusional day dreams.
