Lightning is massive voltage and lots of amps as well. All that is a LOT of heat as all forms of energy create heat. It takes energy to move anything. The old, "objects at rest remain at rest" bit. To move a feather or a dust bunny a millimeter requires energy. To move a solid object like a door, requires a lot more energy.
