Come in from the drivers side on the horizontal. Swivel 13 on long extension gets you on once you have cleared the rubber seal

Don’t break the aluminum inside shifter, it’s expensive
The G 50 trans can be lowered in the front to change the starter unlike the 915

I have that one out, it is a 13 mm bolt right? I also have the two off of the shift coupler that goes to the shift rod. It looks a tad rusty. Guess I need some rust buster and a little persuasion.
