You don't have to touch the shift coupler or anything inside the car. The single bolt is under the car right where the shifter shaft comes out of the transmission. The bolt has a stepped shaft to hook the linkage shaft to the transmission with no slop. If I remember correctly it has a 10mm head. (maybe as large as 12mm)
