These brakes are more than adequate with stock sized rubber 205/225 on 15s. I have “upgraded” 16s with 205/245s, I could get them to feel spongy after a hard session of canyon carving, but I’m harder on bakes than I should be.
Put more meat or stickier meat and you start pushing the limits of the original intent. I’ve upgraded to later bakes cause I like the look and I was originally preparing to track my car before the values took off. But a good pad and well maintained original brake system works well for this car.
