From my experience with the 930s I had / have, 2nd gear synchro' s 1-2nd shift around 55MPH are usually street driven. 2nd to 3rd gets used more often on track or open road as few if any 1-2nd shifts vs many 2nd to 3rd. Syncros, dog teeth are common on most 930 by 60K unless granny driven. Usually $2K,for syncro,s & $3K with dog teeth, so realistically should not be a big factor for just that.
