Back in my single days I often mowed the yard in just my swim trunks and sandals. More than once I was doing laundry, and finished up that before mowing. I would be done with the yard work and all the laundry except my swim trunks. It was not unusual for me to go all day with nothing more than shorts, kinda like the olden days in Hawaii.
I would stand in the back yard and hose myself down to cool off, and clean up enough to go inside and not make a mess.
Then I just needed to finish the house work, and get ready for a date to come over.
