They rip open most tanks like that, too!
We had a large USAF, USN & Marine contingent arrive for our Avalon Air Show here in Aust last year. Watching the F-15s, F-16s, F/A-18 Super Hornets (We've only got regular Hornets here in Aus) and Harriers was awesome. I was less than 100ft from the runway, deck chair and all!
I've gotta say, I was blown away. Something pretty cool about even a regular old 707 (or 737, I don't remember) blitzing past at approx 150 ft at around 450 knots!
