Chances are the entire evap containment system is rotted out so all the hoses may need replacing. Ours were completely rotted out so I did them along with all the fuel feed, return, and CIS hoses during the resto on my wife’s 79SC.

You can trace one of the hoses back to the fuel tank, via a metal tube that passes through the fender/frunk by the fuel filler tube. The other sneaks behind the fuel tank, through the firewall into the driver’s footwell, and then into another metal pipe that runs through the shifter tunnel. That pipe exits at the engine firewall and another hose runs from there to the carbon canister.
