In all actual honesty, while there looking at it, the seller thought it was out of a mid eighties carrera. I told him i think its a narrow early seventies. Neither of us really cared? It was only about the money side. When he gave me his price, I loaded it up in my Honda Va mos turbo 660cc van and was on my way back to Kobe. Like I said before, when someone gives you a horse, you don't go look at it's teeth.
So Matt, did the leak down test on the 3.8 yesterday and all good! My friend told me yeah, just pick up the piece out of the transmission. Didn't know it was so easy, like picking up a dollar off the street, though a lot heavier. 5 hours ago I did it. Sending pix shortly.
