If you mean replacing the steel reinforcing cross member up front, nothing much - unbolt steel skid plate, steering rack, fuel pump, ride height adjusters, and pull the two bolts holding the steel cross member to the tub. If lucky, the steel inserts which hold the rubber bushings on which the T bars ride can be pulled out, or fairly easily persuaded so the steel cross member can be removed. Maybe this can be done without removing the front A arm mount? The gain is slightly reduced mass.
If you mean to install a 935 style ERP etc suspension, with coilovers, money is mainly what that entails. Better adjustability, lower unsprung weight, plus less mass.
