If you mean to install a 935 style ERP etc suspension, with coilovers, money is mainly what that entails. Better adjustability, lower unsprung weight, plus less mass.
Someone was asking me to describe "lightened alloy suspension" that was in the 73 RS and 76 Carrera. He doesn't know what that means and honestly I couldn't answer him.
