I actually free handed mine by hand, with a 5 blade 3/4" countersink bit (home depot $10) that had a standard hex shaft. I used my multi screwdriver. Everything went fine. Cordless drill would have been a lot faster, but I was nervous. Again, worked great, following procedure published on Pelican. ~2"x3" piece of blue shop paper towel pushed in from back side about a 1/4" from top of bore. filled in rest with grease to catch chips. I oiled the bit with 3in1 oil as cutting lube for every hole, although the grease would have been fine. when done, pushed the shop towel thru rest of way.
