Just a little something I can't let slip past since there was some talk about statistics and how they can be misleading, etc...
A list of supposed bite strength based on the PSI of various breeds jaws is meaningless unless they all have the exact same sized jaws. A Yorkie w 500 PSI of bite strength doesn't mean schit...it doesn't have an inch of jaw area. A doberman does not bite harder than the dogs below it on that list, it just has a smaller jaw.
Obviously, a large dog w a high bite strength is the most dangerous. Think Grizzly Bear or crocodile. Pit bulls vary quite a bit in size, I've seen them under 50 lbs. and over 100 lbs. They have large jaws in relation to their overall size and very strong jaws.
