[Zaxp26]

I have a 914 trans that works fine in reverse but when I go to use any of the forward gears its like they are not getting any power, the car will go forward slowly the motor will just rev up. I thought it would be the clutch was worn out but then thought if it was the clutch it wouldn't work in reverse. Was hoping anyone could clarify if that was the case, that a bad clutch wouldn't work in either direction or if it would work one way but not the other.
