Hi Chris!
The stock lines and factory replacements use a rubber grade that is not compatible with the ethanol content in all of our available grades of gasoline. This ethanol removes the plasticizers present and n the rubber causing it to shrink and become brittle. Later...leaks and tragedy...
Teflon is intrinsically impervious to all grades of fuel and amounts of ethanol content. They will last forever and never degrade. Putting the braided stainless steel over the Teflon leads to a very robust line strength, and the rubber layer over that makes them abrasion resistant.
I’m going to try to modify the title of the thread to include the price which I’ve communicating via PM and email...but I also will list it below:
$450 to Pelican forum members, including shipping to the US. PayPal fees extra...or friends/family.
Thanks!
