The meat commodity in this world is a sick process. Anyone with ties to the raising of animals to be slaughtered for food doesn't eat a lot of meat. Good friend of mine was in charge of the feed for numerous chicken growers here in CA and even though he seldom was in contact with live animals, he won't eat chicken. The fact that he will eat beef astonishes me because he damn well knows the same thing goes on on the next farm raising beef or whatever.
In this country the industry is known as the industrialized meat industry (aka Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations – CAFO) uses carbon monoxide to keep red meat unnaturally red while on display in the market. Fook that.
If you want to hunt to eat, do it. Fishing seems OK to me too when it's not purely for sport. Sport fishermen should be thrown to the sharks. And you saw the sentiment right here about the
killing of the bear sow and cubs.
