I found the biggest problem was fuel supply.
The Bosch CIS fuel head could just not supply enough fuel. I even tried the Dkubus digital WUR setup and I still could not flow enough fuel.
I ended up going EFI, that works.
If I had to do it again I would just go straight to EFI.
