Jeez Mike - where do you get this stuff? Just who do you think I was referring to? Hint: it sure as hell wasn't the millions of hard working people who buy their food at the grocery store.

Self righteous, haughty, arrogant, they look down their noses in disdain at those who accept this reality was a clear reference to those who, well, look down their noses at the rest of us and our lifestyle choices in disdain. It was a clear reference to the militant vegans and such who seem to believe they can go through life in such a way that nothing has to die to keep them alive. This was the group at whom I was directing my comments, not our average hard working folks who choose to shop for, rather than kill, their meat. I have nothing at all against them or their choices.
I thought that was pretty clearly implied. Guess not...
